MOUNTAIN LINE STOP CLOSURES AND TEMP STOPS FOR CEDAR/LOCKETT/FOURTH ST. CONSTRUCTION

FLAGSTAFF, AZ (February 18, 2025) – The City of Flagstaff will begin construction of the Lockett and Fourth roundabout on May 27, along with implementing additional road closures for Cedar Av. flood control work, which will impact Mountain Line Routes 2 and 7. The following stop closures and temporary stops will be in place:
Route 2

  • Stop 8 (Cedar/West) closed – a temp stop is available just south on West St., on the west side of the road.
  • Stop 9 (Cedar/Aris) closed – a temp stop is available to the south, on the south side of Dortha Av., just west of Rose St.
  • A stop 9A will be added on the south side of the Coconino Community College parking lot (buses will detour through the parking lot)
  • Stop 10 (Lockett/King) closed – a temp stop is available to the east on Lockett Rd., east of King St.
  • Stop 21 (Lockett/King) closed – a temp stop is available to the east on Lockett Rd., east of King St.
  • A stop 21A will be added on the north side of the Coconino Community College parking lot (buses will detour through the parking lot)
  • Stop 22 (Cedar/Fourth) closed – a temp stop is available to the south, on the north side of Dortha Av., just east of Rose St.
  • Stop 23 (Cedar West) closed – a temp stop is available just south on West St., on the east side of the road.

Route 7

  • Stop 14 (Cedar/ West) closed – a temp stop is available to the south, on the south side of Dortha Av., just west of Rose St.
  • Stop 15 (Cedar/Aris) closed – a temp stop is available to the south, on the south side of Dortha Av., just west of Rose St.
  • Stop 16 (Fourth/Cedar) closed – a temp stop is available to the south, on the south side of Dortha Av., just west of Fourth St.

Riders can use the Transit app to get real time bus arrival information for the temp stops during the construction project.
