FREE MOUNTAIN LINE SERVICE ON APRIL 19 IN HONOR OF EARTH DAY
FLAGSTAFF, AZ (April 17, 2025) – Go car-free in honor of Earth Day – ride Mountain Line fare-free all day on Saturday, April 19.
The City of Flagstaff is hosting its annual Earth Day community event at Bushmaster Park on Saturday, April 19 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to use alternate forms of transportation to get there, including biking, taking the bus, and walking. Bushmaster Park can be accessed by Mountain Line’s Route 2, Stops 11 and 20 at Lockett Rd. and Alta Vista Dr.
Mountain Line will participate in the Earth Day event, showing off one of the agency’s two electric buses. Attendees can learn more about this exciting technology and upcoming service changes.
“Celebrate Earth Day in style by letting Mountain Line be your ride around town,” said Mountain Line CEO and General Manager Heather Dalmolin. “Switching even one trip a week to transit can make a huge impact, so I encourage everyone to get started this Saturday.”
