MOUNTAIN LINE SEEKS TRANSIT ADVISORY COMMITTEE MEMBERS

FLAGSTAFF, AZ (May 5, 2026) –Mountain Line is seeking to fill three vacancies on the Transit Advisory Committee (TAC) for the following categories:
- Business or Economic Development Citizen Representative
- Human Services Citizen Representative
- Mountain Line Rider Citizen Representative
The TAC is charged with acting as a community stakeholder, evaluating transit proposals, and providing input to the Mountain Line CEO and General Manager.
The term is for three years, and the time commitment is a few hours each month with regular TAC meetings held quarterly. The Fiscal Year 2027 meeting dates are August 6, November 5, January 7, and April 1 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Meetings are usually held in the Ponderosa Room at Mountain Line Headquarters (216 W. Phoenix Ave.) and a virtual attendance option is also available. There is a Board and TAC Strategic Retreat scheduled for October 21, 2026, and this is an in-person meeting. Typically, there are Board recesses in July and December. TAC members are also offered an annual Mountain Line bus pass.
Mountain Line partner agencies include the City of Flagstaff, Coconino County, Northern Arizona University, and Coconino Community College.
Transit knowledge is preferred but not required.
The successful candidate’s term would begin with notification and acceptance of the position. The first TAC meeting would be August 6, 2026.
