MOUNTAIN LINE TO OFFER EXTENDED NEW YEAR’S EVE HOURS FREE SERVICE ALL DAY
FLAGSTAFF, AZ (December 23, 2021) After taking 2020 off, Mountain Line will continue its tradition of offering a safe and reliable transportation option by extending service past midnight and offering FREE rides all day on New Year’s Eve.
Mountain Line will extend regular weekday service hours, with the last buses departing downtown around 1:30 a.m. to accommodate those heading out to the annual Pine Cone Drop event and other celebrations throughout town. Mountain Line will run on a regular weekday schedule, and beginning after the last scheduled run of the day, service will be as follows:

*The Downtown Connection Center is located on Phoenix Ave., between Beaver St. and Milton Rd.
Mountain Line Paratransit clients can also take advantage of the same extended hours, but must book their trips as normal through the Dispatch Office.
Per federal mandate, riders are required to wear face coverings that cover the nose and mouth on Mountain Line vehicles and at all stops and connection centers.
Those planning to use Mountain Line for their New Year’s Eve transportation are encouraged to call the Mountain Line offices at 928.779-6624 during regular business hours prior to the holiday to receive trip planning assistance. The Mountain Line office will be closed on Friday, December 31 and customer service will not be available. The Google Transit Trip Planner and additional New Year’s Eve service information is also available at www.mountainline.az.gov/newyears. Those who want to track the status of their bus in real time can download the free Transit app.
